    Why you’ll love it

Welcome to Willuna Sanctuary. Here is your chance to experience a unique farm stay within the 62 acre park like animal sanctuary. Wake up to the free roaming peacocks saying good morning. Take a private farm tour to get up close and personal feeding kangaroos, emus, Canadian elks or even a pony ride. So much to explore and do including sunrises on the famous Mount Pilot summit nearby. In summer cool off in the pool or enjoy toasting marshmallows around the indoor fire pit in the cooler months.

Inspired by the gold mining era is your very own miner themed cabin. Inside is two bedrooms consisting of comfy double bed in the one and second bedroom has double bunk on bottom and single on top. Full cooking facilities and bathroom for up to five guests.

Once you step outside your cabin doors you are met with an oasis of gardens. Free roaming ducks, chickens, peacocks, 100 year old European trees, multiple spring fed dams to enjoy whilst walking through the grounds meeting the many native and farm animals alike. The sound of wildlife and many different birds transports you into another world. Beechworth and Chiltern are a short drive away, perfect tourist destinations so rich in history and things to do. Come and enjoy this little big slice of paradise! They are also pet friendly.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
