    The event vibe

For the first time ever, the phenomenal Big Band Liechtenstein will be hitting Australian shores to join forces with international trumpet maestro James Morrison, to bring to life all those timeless big band classics.

James is a musical genius in his own right and a highly entertaining showman, who always delivers an unforgettable
performance. Combing this with one of the best big bands in Europe, and you have a concert experience you simply cannot miss.

One of the smallest countries in the world, but what a Big Band: The Big Band Liechtenstein, in its over 40-year history, has performed for Pope John Paul II and at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival, accompanied many stars, and played numerous concerts across Europe.

He is thrilled to be playing with this fabulous big band who will blow you away with their incredible musicianship and energy. Grab your friends and get ready for this very special big band treat.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
