    The event vibe

Padded Cell Productions and BMF Productions present: the fifth Metal in the Mountains. Situated in the heart of history-drenched Beechworth, this dose of alternative, underground culture proudly stands behind the Historic precinct buildings.

Returning for a massive sixth year in the centre of Beechworth with a full range of heavy bands,
ready to pummel the granite foundations into sand, this year's show will not hold back.

The peaceful citizens of the quiet historic township of Beechworth will be shaken from their vintage homes. The earth itself will quake and the cockatoos will scream from the trees. All within earshot will know that Metalhead Ned is back in town.

This year's line-up features eight heavyweight from all corners of the scene converging for a massive day of riffs, burgers and refreshments.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
