    Why You’ll Love It

This 132 hectare farm is home to an impressive array of varieties and centre for progressive processing techniques in the region. Originally owned by Dr. Jorge Vides, he began to grow coffee until the entire farm was cultivated with Bourbon and Caturra varietals. In the beginning, he traveled on horseback to get to the farm. He loved this land and worked the farm by cultivating, harvesting, and producing high-quality coffee.

Since 1995, the farm has been run by his daughter, Maria Elena Vides, and his grandson, Renardo Ovalle. This coffee was grown at Finca Terrazas, the third and newest farm managed by the family.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
