    The event vibe

Ring in the New Year at Warabi with a 14-course omakase experience.

Start the night with a glass of Taittinger Champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling, then enjoy a menu that blends Japanese tradition with seasonal creativity.

This year’s omakase captures the spirit of the season through exceptional produce and refined technique, featuring dishes such as gohan with Tasmanian green lip abalone and kimo, and mushimono with Tasmanian giant crab and kanimiso.

A vinyl DJ carries the evening into midnight, as you farewell the year and welcome the next in true Warabi style.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
