    The event vibe

Dindi Daze, now in its second year, is a fun-filled, family-focused celebration of everything that makes Murrindindi great. Held in Rotary Park, this year's event builds on the success of its inaugural year and has evolved to place even greater emphasis on families and community members.

The day will feature a range of children's activities, including free face painting, games, and competitions. A highlight will be the mobile animal farm, where children will have the opportunity to pat, feed, and hold the animals.

Local performers will provide entertainment throughout the event, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy food, local craft beers, wines, and spirits, as well as arts and crafts stalls, an historic vehicle display, and even steam train rides.

A range of community-based stalls focused on mental health, healthy ageing, and support for victims of family violence, further strengthening Dindi Daze's and Rotary's commitment to community wellbeing.

The focus of Dindi Daze is to bring the Murrindindi community together to celebrate everything that makes our region special and, of course, to have some fun. The event also aims to attract visitors and tourists, providing an opportunity to showcase local talent, including our region's musicians, art, crafts, food, wine, and beer.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
