    The event vibe

The Beechworth Beer Run is a running event that celebrates beer with a focus on the fine and many flavours this magical brewed liquid can be conjured into by master brewers such as those found at Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth. Just so happens those brewers love trail running as much as brewing.

So they have combined the two passions - ales and trails - and created a set of runs that focus on the flowing Indigo Epic Trail - epic by name and by nature.

In the 30 kilometre Full Pint, you will run from Yackandandah to Beechworth, crossing the line to claim your medal and two free beers. The 15 kilometre outing is a loop that circles two lakes plus takes in some of the Epic trail, while the 5 kilometre Quencher and the 2.5 kilometre Kids Cordial Cruze circle Lake Sambell ensuring there is something for everyone.

Beechworth Beer Run is a perfect weekend running getaway to combine a fun family weekend away in a beautiful part of Victoria with a smidge of running, fine food and a crafty pint.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
