Step back into the 1950's and travel by vintage steam train through Melbourne's suburbs from Cranbourne to Dandenong and return as Steamrail Victoria operate two Steam locomotives with heritage wooden E type carriages, departing Cranbourne Station on a 50 minute return journey.

These Shuttles will travel along the former South Gippsland Line, between Cranbourne and Dandenong. Travel in their heritage wooden red rattler carriages dating back to 1908, featuring compartment seating, opening windows and pressed tin ceilings. Listen to the whistles of the engines as they work their way over the viaducts and wave to the locals as you pass through Melbourne's Southeastern Suburbs.
