Fortnums is set in the heart of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, in the picturesque village of Sassafras. Overlooking the spectacular nearby ranges, it is set amongst picturesque gardens and has a bright airy look and feel of an English conservatory, with a wonderful atmosphere created by warm friendly staff and relaxing music.

Our menu draws its inspiration from a variety of good honest comfort food and modern Australian cuisine. We are known far and near for our high quality lunch and desserts, not to forget our famous traditional scones served with a variety of jams and conserves all made on our premises.

We serve a selection of local wines from the Yarra Valley and other Australian regions, and also stock a wide variety of local and imported beers and spirits.

Come and enjoy our High Tea experience at Fortnums. With its English style conservatory windows overlooking the gardens, Fortnums is the perfect for a relaxing afternoon indulgence. You will be treated to a selection of savoury delights and sandwiches, followed by our famous scones, served with our own jam, and petite pastries with your choice of leaf tea or espresso coffee. Maybe add a glass of sparkling to make the afternoon even better! High Tea is available every day we are open, with a minimum of 2 people. We require at least 24 hours notice.
