Up Gallery is located in Sassafras village in the Dandenong Ranges. Several artists micro galleries also operate on the site in pod containers.
In the first weeks of May 2023, after a busy open studios weekend, 30+ artists quietly filled the walls with art, heart and a bit of bravado.
A dream soon became a reality as we all wanted a place to exhibit our art and this has now become a hub for many established and emerging artists on the mountain to collaborate and showcase their work.
Our gallery hosts a vibrant bi-monthly calendar of new exhibitions showcasing exceptional art by creatives who live the mountain.
Up Artisans Inc. has currently 30 exhibiting members who with a committee of management operate the gallery, giftshop and workshops.
