Anglesea Golf Club

Anglesea Golf Club is one of the sporting gems of regional Victoria. Situated just an hours drive west of Melbourne along the beautiful Great Ocean Road, Anglesea is a course with an international reputation as one of the country's most beautiful and uniquely Australian golf courses.

Not only is the course itself both challenging and enjoyable for both seasoned professionals and beginners, but it is set among some of the most stunning rural landscape in the country.

Additionally, golfers and visitors can share the beauty of the course with the many kangaroos that inhabit its environs. Many of the fairways border one of the region's many nature reserves. This provides a natural sanctuary and habitat for the kangaroos who can be seen grazing around the course at all times of day but especially tend to congregate in the evenings.

Our course has all the facilities that golfers might expect at a modern golf club including our widely regarded 18-hole, 6028 metre course, our fast and firm fairways with a covering of wintergreen couch and our immaculately kept greens.

We also provide four practice fairways, two practice putting greens two chipping greens and a dedicated six-bay driving range with nets, everything that an ambitious golfer keen to improve his or her game could need.

And while the course is the pride of the club, it is just one of the many highlights on offer to members and guests.

Our clubhouse under went an extensive refurbishment in 2019 and now offers the absolute best in amenities, from an elegant and spacious bistro and bar to function facilities that can cater for events of up to 80 people at a time, from weddings to sports presentation, to birthdays and anniversaries and everything in between.

Our club pro is on hand with his team of team of talented and friendly assistants to provide coaching and experience for those seeking to compete at the highest levels to those who just enjoy a round or two with friends.

There's also a magnificent deck that overlooks the course and accommodates up to 180 patrons, perfect for a drink or two and an opportunity to revel in the sunshine or the evening breeze as you overlook the course.
