    Fresh Air Vibes

Just minute's drive from the town centre of Daylesford; Jubilee Lake is a quiet and relaxing place to visit.

There is a range of activities for all including; barbeque facilities, walking trails, a mineral water spring, canoe and paddle boat hire, a playground, caravan park and kiosk. Originally known as ‘Hepburn Goldfields Reservoir’, Jubilee Lake was built to supply water to the local gold mines during the 1860s gold rush. Now a premier, family-friendly fishing location stocked regularly with rainbow trout, Jubilee Lake is a must-do whilst in the area.

Walk the lake circuit and stop at the mineral spring to refresh with some of this area's famous mineral water. You can link up with the Goldfields Trail from Jubilee Lake and walk into Daylesford. Visit in autumn and experience the changing colours of the trees surrounding Jubilee Lake.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
