    Fresh Air Vibes

From the remains of house sites and puddling machines to the gold mines and gullies that yielded up fortunes's first national heritage park harbours fascinating tales of a golden past and retains much of its gold-rush character.

Spring wildflowers, scenic drives, bushwalking, cycling, guided tours and gold fossicking are some of the highlights. Nearby Maldon Historic Reserve also protects many interesting relics from the gold era.

    Aboriginal Traditional Owners
Parks Victoria acknowledges the Aboriginal Traditional Owners of Victoria - including its parks and reserves. We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
