Hunter-Gatherer Winery

The Hunter-Gatherer range of wines are handcrafted by Macedon Ranges based winemaker Brian Martin.

Brian has been making wine in the Macedon Ranges since 2004, including 15 years in senior roles at Australia's leading contract sparkling facility, making traditional method sparkling for wineries throughout Australia.

The Hunter-Gatherer range includes Sparkling, Pet Nat, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Sangiovese, Cabernet, Shiraz and Sparkling Shiraz.

Grapes are sourced from the Hunter-Gatherer Pipers Creek vineyard and Brian is known to Hunt & Gather exceptional fruit from reputable growers in other corners of the Macedon Ranges and from the nearby Heathcote wine region.

The Hunter-Gatherer vineyard in Pipers Creek was purchased by Brian and Roslyn in 2015 and contains a 5-hectare planting of 20+ year old Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Merlot. The property is farmed in a regenerative manner with a focus on soil health.
