The Spit - Winton Wetlands

The Spit walking trail sees you walking along the sand dune which follows the edge of Winton Swamp. Here you will have the opportunity to spot a vast array of wildlife especially birdlife. Keep a look out for White-bellied Sea Eagles.

This track isn't clearly marked and is recommended for more experienced walkers.

Grade medium and distance 13km return.

Remember if you pass through a gate that has been closed, remember to shut it behind you.
