    The event vibe

Step into the heart of the Mornington Peninsula's country charm at the 98th Red Hill Show, one of Victoria's most cherished regional events.

Held each year on the Saturday of the March long weekend, this lively celebration of agriculture, produce competitions, rural life and community spirit offers a fun-filled day out for all ages. From traditional livestock competitions and vintage machinery to farm animals, food trucks, live music, carnival rides, cooking demos, and hundreds of creative exhibits, the Show is a colourful patchwork of everything that makes the region special.

Crowd favourites include the thrilling woodchop competition, gumboot throw, working dog demonstrations, and the ever-popular dog high jump scramble.

Plus a packed kids' program included in the ticket price — pony rides, native animals, petting farm, face painting, carnival rides, the much-loved gumboot throw and plenty more!

Whether you're a long-time local or visiting for the first time, the Red Hill Show is a must-do event for your March long weekend.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
