Chiltern and Barnawartha's Back to the 1950s Festival will celebrate all things music, fashion, food, movies and vehicles.
It's a unique event that brings together two of the Shire's communities, connected by the iconic Highway 31, and helps celebrate those heyday 1950's that many will be keen to experience for the first time, and for others, will be reminiscent of happy childhoods.

This event will incorporate a screening of the iconic movie, Back to the Future at Chiltern's Historic Star Theatre, a rock and roll dance featuring local rock and roll dance group, Johnny's Rockers, yarnbombing by Chiltern Yarnbombers, window displays and vintage markets, a fashion show featuring vintage 50s styles at Chiltern Memorial Hall, rock and roll dance demonstrations, vintage vehicle and bike display and cruise between Barnawartha and Chiltern, the longest intact section of Old Highway 31.
