    The Tasty Scoop

BeanStation is an up cycled industrial vibed eating/coffee house and wine bar. Our modern Australian menu partnered with Merlo coffee, local wines and Aussie boutique beers is our exciting product mix, personally selected by owners Amanda and Rod Ayton and our amazing BeanStation Café team.

Our home is nestled in Wodonga’s newest spot to be, Junction Place. Wodonga’s old train station has been given a new lease of life. Built in 1873 this historical building has laid dormant until now. Pulled from the ashes and has risen to be the most exciting development to happen in Albury / Wodonga for all to come and enjoy.

We may do things a little left of centre at BeanStation Café, but never do we do things by halves. A lot of our things have BEAN something else, bean under trolleys, bean a tin sign, bean an old floor beam, bean a wool table or bean a metal column brace. But now is part of our up cycled cafe. Even our home has bean a train station, now it has a new way of life, a second go, as BeanStation Café.

Come and experience the amazing feeling you get, relaxing on the platform at sunset, together with enjoyable live music, great wine and good company. Add delicious seasonal grazing platters to complement the evening and there it is in a nutshell. BeanStation Café on the Albury Wodonga Border.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
