    Market vibes

The Beaufort Town Market is held in the picturesque Beaufort Memorial Rose Gardens, set opposite the historic band rotunda at the corner of Havelock and Livingston Streets.

A much loved cornerstone of the community, the market offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where locals and visitors come together to enjoy the best of Beaufort. Browse a diverse range of stalls featuring local wine, plants, handmade treasures, fresh produce, and unique gifts. There are also free activities to keep the kids entertained, making it a perfect day out for the whole family.

Drop in and fuel up at one of the cosy cafes for breakfast or coffee before you wander the market.

While you're in town, take time to wander through Beaufort and discover its distinctive shops, galleries, and attractions, including the Beaufort Christmas Shop, Freddy Fernackpans Fun time Candy, Beaufort Art Trax, Bloomin Fresh, the Cyril Callister Vegemite Museum, De Beares House of Antiques, Grevillea Cottage, and the Beaufort Craft Co-op.

Make a day of it by staying for lunch and enjoying Beaufort's cosy cafés and welcoming eateries. Choose from the renowned Magnolia's Restaurant, the ever-popular Beaufort Bakery, or a classic pub meal at the Golden Age Hotel or the Beaufort Hotel.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
