Brunswick Ballroom is one of Melbourne’s most vibrant live performance venues, located in the beautifully restored Metropolis House on Sydney Road in Brunswick. Since reopening in February 2021 after an extensive refurbishment, the venue has quickly become a favourite on Melbourne’s live music and events circuit.

The upstairs ballroom is a stunning space, reached via a dramatic staircase and crowned by striking stained-glass domes inspired by the work of renowned Australian artist Leonard French. An open-air balcony overlooks the lively Brunswick streetscape, with views stretching towards Melbourne’s skyline.

Inspired by the legendary Continental Café of 1990s Prahran, the Brunswick Ballroom hosts an eclectic mix of live music, comedy, cabaret and special events. The venue has already welcomed an impressive lineup of Australian artists including Courtney Barnett, Tim Rogers, Eddie Perfect, Phil Jamieson, Gareth Liddiard, Stella Donnelly, The Murlocs, Ross Wilson, Tripod and Grace Cummings.
