    The event vibe

From the moment you first hear Australian singer-songwriter Clint Wilson sing, you’ll instantly feel a deep connection with his music. The folk/alt-country artist transforms life’s small moments into worlds within each song, inviting the listener to bring their own emotions and memories along for the ride. Playing tracks from his brand new album 'Actually, It Is You'.

Kevin Bennett, well-respected First Nations Singer/Songwriter with Sydney Roots band The Flood, are returning to Melbourne to celebrate his latest album of Australian songs 'Crucifix and Spinifex'. Released in November 2024, it speaks to, and is informed by, the Australian landscape, it's people, and the deep, diverse stories of this wide, brown, ancient land.

Kevin was an Aria nominee in 2006, received a CMAA Lifetime Achievement Award (2025)and 8 x Gold Guitar winner...(2006, 2011, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021 and most recently for Song Of The Year with Troy Cassar-Daley in 2025), writes relevant, contemporary Australian music containing elements of Country, Blues, Folk and Rock - telling stories of where he's from and where he might be going, his past and his possible future...he sings his life.

The Flood has recorded 7 universally acclaimed albums including 'The Ballad OF KB', named in lain Shedden's Top Twenty Australian Country Albums of all time, while Rhythms magazine calls The Flood 'the best Australian Roots band since The Dingoes.' The band has been at the forefront of the Alternative Country scene for around 30 years and has created it's own alternate sonic oasis in Australia's Country Music capital, Tamworth.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
