Undoubtedly one of Australia’s most spectacular parks, Croajingolong’s landscapes and ecosystems are so valuable that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has nominated it a World Biosphere Reserve.

Diverse landscapes
The park encompasses 100 kilometres of coast and hinterland and features an extraordinary diversity of landscapes from pure white sandy beaches, rocky coastal headlands and granite peaks to rambling heathland, lush rainforests and towering eucalypts. It also supports a wide range of flora and fauna, with more than 1000 native plants and over 300 bird species.

Outdoor activities
Croajingolong National Park is a great spot for hiking and walking, water sports such as surf and freshwater fishing, swimming, diving, snorkelling and sea kayaking, and touring by 4WD or mountain bikes. It is also a photographer’s paradise with countless opportunities to capture untouched nature on film.

Acknowledgement of Country

Let’s Go Victoria acknowledges the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present. We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
