    Why You’ll Love It

Nestled beside the picturesque Botanic Gardens on the banks of the Moyne River, a tranquil break is awaiting you at the Gardens Caravan Park.

Just 200 metres from the popular East Beach swimming area, you can smell the sea air and enjoy the open space from the deck of a self-contained cabin, or choose one of the spacious, grassed powered or non-powered camping sites for the duration of your stay.

Ideal for the whole family with grassy open spaces surrounded by the iconic Norfolk pine trees, this caravan park is perfectly located to ensure that the whole family enjoys the variety of attractions that Port Fairy offers.

An easy 600 metre walk into town or the historic working Port incorporating yacht and fishing fleet moorings then onto Griffiths Island to see the light house and mutton birds during the breeding season.

There is plenty of great fishing on offer by either boat, river bank or sea, with boat launching and fish cleaning facilities just two minutes from the park.

This is a dog-friendly caravan park.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
