    Fresh Air Vibes

This forest trail through the Strzelecki Ranges passes through flora reserves and large embankments, as well as connecting the towns of Mirboo North and Boolarra. The halfway point at Darlimurla has an information shelter with a trail map and the Big Tree, which is a remnant of the tall trees that used to grow in the area.

    Location: Mirboo North to Boolarra
    Distance: 13km one way
Track: Generally smooth dirt or gravel track
Grade: Level 1 – No experience required, suitable for beginners and children.
Start: Behind the Grand Ridge Brewery, Mirboo North
    Finish: Railway Park, Boolarra
Note: This ride can be done in either direction. If you are travelling from Boolarra to Mirboo North, you will experience a gentle uphill climb.
Getting there: Travel via Monash Freeway (M1) and South Gippsland Highway (A440) to Leongatha. Then follow Strzelecki Highway (B460) to Mirboo North approximately 160km south-east of Melbourne.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
