A scenic drive to an alpine destination

Travel around two hours (120 kilometres) from Melbourne on the Maroondah Highway to reach Lake Mountain via Healesville or Marysville, driving through mountain ash forests and rainforest gullies that give way to snowgums and subalpine plants around Gerraty's car park.
