    The event vibe

The City of Kingston proudly presents the 2026 Mordi Fest. Mordi Fest is an annual celebration located on Mordialloc’s beautiful foreshore. The festival brings together people of all ages to enjoy great food, live music, and vibrant local culture.

The festival features three stages, offering non-stop music and roving entertainment over two days. It’s a day full of fun, food, and festivities by the beach, perfect for connecting with friends, family, and neighbours and experiencing all Mordialloc has to offer.

    Headliners
    Teenage Dads
From the moment Teenage Dads released early singles like Devil’s Jam and Sunburnt, it was clear they were aiming for something different. Refusing to be confined by stock-standard Australian indie, the Melbourne four-piece craft sharp melodies and energetic rhythms that collide influences from early-2000s NYC indie, ’80s icons like Devo and Talking Heads, and the explosive energy of bands such as Two Door Cinema Club — all while sounding unmistakably their own.

Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows
More than 40 years in the making, Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows present a hand-picked journey through the soul, grit and timeless, genre-defying songwriting that has cemented their place as one of Australia’s most enduring bands. Celebrating this milestone alongside a double-album release, the band is embarking on a nationwide tour. Renowned for their high-energy live shows and infectious, raw, roots-driven rhythms, The Black Sorrows continue to captivate audiences under the leadership of iconic music legend Joe Camilleri, evolving into one of the most sophisticated ensembles in the country.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
