    The event vibe

The Port Fairy Long Weekend Street Fair runs alongside the famous Port Fairy Folk Festival.

While thousands will be at the Port Fairy Folk Festival arena at Southcombe Park this weekend, the town’s streets will also be a buzz of activity. The Street Fair will provide live music on Fiddler’s Green, roving performers, free kids zone and much more.

This will include market stalls on Bank and Sackville Streets, as well as at Railway Place. It provides some great entertainment for people who don’t have tickets for the festival and also for those that do but who also want to come and check out the street.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
