Set along the High Country Rail Trail, the Pub to Pelican is High Country Victoria's latest marathon event.

The Towong Shire Council in collaboration with Mathieu Dore Coaching have produced this event, boasting an incredible route spanning between the Koetong Pub and Pelican Park on the foreshore of Lake Hume, Tallangatta.

How fast can you go? Set in spectacular scenery, a downhill gradient for the first 20km, provides an opportunity for participants to run an ultra-fast 42km. Traverse a range of landscapes from vast pine forests, rolling hills of agricultural farmland, creeks, and lake foreshores with the Pub to Pelican offering unmatched scenery of the Upper Murray and Lake Hume regions.

From dedicated marathon runners travelling intra or interstate to participate, to young local children - the day will involve running races of numerous distances.
