    Market vibes

Since 1975, the iconic Red Hill Community Market is the place to be on the last Saturday of the month from September to May.

Stallholders are masters of their trade, all products offered being expertly made and professionally presented with an essence of the maker’s humility evident.

A whole range of exciting foods and beverages are represented, all fresh and tempting. Expect seasonal local fruits and benches full of home grown vegetables. A huge selection of unique culinary delights makes a mouth watering tasty feast.

There are original design pieces for the garden made from materials such as wrought iron and bronze feature. The market also features a good range of plants and colourful fresh flowers. Parking is simple, straight forward and close by. Stallholders are renowned for their hospitality.

Over the years these markets have become a meeting place for people from all walks of life, as there is a marvelous variety of food to sample in a cheerful atmosphere, and an extraordinarily wide selection of high quality crafts to buy.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
