    The event vibe

Halls Gap in the heart of the majestic Grampians National Park (Gariwerd), one of Victoria's most stunning natural features, will play host to the 14th running of the fun, family friendly event Run the Gap.

Participants can choose between a 6 kilometre walk or run with a mix of trails and paths along the Fyans Creek trail, go the distance in the 12 kilometre run with a lap across the wall at Lake Bellfield, or for the trail runner, or the 21k Trail run where both experienced and new will find the variety and diversity of the course a rewarding and worthy challenge.

Halls Gap village is the perfect place to finish with breathtaking views of Mt William and the Serra Ranges. A complimentary barbecue brekky brunch is offered free to participants, with a gold coin donation for family and friends. There is also a 'Mini Run the Gap' for the little ones to have the chance to run through the finish line gantry, just like the bigger runners. The event has a great vibe, is family friendly and open to all ages.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
