    The event vibe

DAY 1 is dedicated to First Peoples programming, with stellar line-ups of established and emerging artists from the Main Stage on St Kilda's foreshore, and more live tunes and family friendly activities over at O’Donnell Gardens and Palais Forecourt.

DAY 2 of the Festival is a large-scale, multi-stage event featuring some of Australia's biggest artists and bands, which historically welcomes an audience of around 375,000, to St Kilda’s iconic foreshore area.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
