To put it simply, were a neighbourhood brewery bringing people together over a great beer. A century ago Collingwood was the epicentre of Australian brewing and in 2016, we set out to bring independent brewing back to its original stomping ground.
We believe that beer should be for all walks and brew an award winning range to suit all tastes, from laid-back drinkers to the adventurous.
Founded in 2016 by Steve Jeffares, Guy Greenstone and Justin Joiner, after establishing the craft beer temples The Local Taphouse in St Kilda and Darlinghurst, the iconic GABS Festival and the GABS Hottest 100, Stomping Ground has grown into Australias Champion Large Independent Brewery with three beer halls and a crew of 100+.
