Head northside to Thornbury where a rock 'n' roll resurrection has quietly taken place. The history of the Croxton Bandroom traces back to the 1970s and '80s, when it was a hallowed spot for big-name Aussie pub rock acts, from AC/DC to INXS and Midnight Oil. Reopened in 2016, the bandroom continues the tradition and pumps with musicians burning up the massive 14-metre stage each week. The crowds are back and the Crox is again the place to be.
