    The event vibe

The Hallora Marathon is a great social event for everyone and families are most welcome to join in on this fun run/walk/bike ride.

There are two main goals of this event, one is to raise funds for Peter Mac and two is to promote physical activity and community engagement.

Run, walk or cycle - your choice. The Walk and Cycle Events are limited to the five, eight and sixteen kilometres.

The Marathon commences at the Hallora recreation reserve. The participants will run into Drouin via Main South Road and connect to the Drouin end of the Two Towns Trail. The course then travels three times between Drouin and Warragul, finishing at the Warragul end of the Two Towns Trail.

    There are five options for distance – 5, 8, 16, 24, and 42.2 kilometres.

This event is managed by volunteers and all proceeds after costs are donated to Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
