Acre of Roses

Acre of Roses is a working bio-dynamic micro-farm of heritage roses in the heart of the Trentham hamlet, only an hour from Melbourne that offers two beautifully-appointed cottages set amongst enchanting gardens.

The Miner's Cottage offers luxury wellness accommodation and sensory experiences designed to help you escape from everyday stresses. Here you can relax and rejuvenate; indulge; play or discover all that Trentham and surrounds offer.

Built in the early 1860s, the Miner's Cottage is a private self-contained restorative sanctuary for a country escape, or a centrally located base from which to explore all the beautiful region has to offer. There is a gourmet Kitchen and the Bathroom has a clawfoot bath and Steam Shower Room. The potager gardens provide seasonal, naturally grown produce for your use throughout your stay. The rainwater filled cedar hot tub provides relaxation the natural way, using minerals for purity. The theater room can be used for entertaining, meditating or just chilling out watching a movie on the cinema screen.

The Potting Shed offers a unique garden studio experience connected to nature which is also dog-friendly, has an outdoor clawfoot bath on a raised deck under the canopy of trees and can be booked separately from the Miners Cottage (sleeps two).
