    Why you’ll love it

Argyle Farm is an idyllic country getaway, the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the natural Australian environment and simple way of life - with all the modern comforts. It is located in Victoria's Wimmera region, near the famed Grampians National Park.

There are two accommodations on site, Argyle House and Little Argyle. Both are beautifully restored farm cottages with historic charm and wood fires. Argyle House has two bedrooms (sleeps five) while Little Argyle is a studio apartment (sleeps two).

Outside on the lawn is a fire pit - perfect for toasting marshmallows and stargazing.

For adults and children, Argyle Farm is a haven with so many things to do: feed the chooks, collect eggs, wander the bushland, lie in hammocks, play in the tree house or ride a bike. There are olive groves and wineries nearby. Alternatively, this is the ideal place to be still and enjoy board games, reading, sleeping, yoga, meditation. There is Wi-Fi and a television for those who want to stay connected.

The farm has been owned by the same family for five generations and antique paintings and ornaments artfully tell its history.

Whether you want to do everything or nothing at all; whether you're escaping the city or wanting a change of scene from the suburbs or coast, Argyle Farm will charm and restore you.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
