No visit to Buchan is complete without a beer at the Buchan Caves Hotel, a Buchan institution.
The historic pub was destroyed by fire in 2014, rebuilt with the support of the local community. Today the cosy pub is serving hearty meals in the bistro.
Outside, weathered timber and corrugated iron walls are a nod to the former pub’s heritage, creating an inviting nook to enjoy a cold one.
