Cog Bikes and Brew Cafe

 Joel was one of those kids who loved anything with wheels – bikes, skateboards, cars – he always had an interest!

He would often be riding over to a friend’s house on a bike and/or doing his own repairs and building bikes in the backyard.

He ran a tiling business for nearly 20 years while increasing his knowledge on bikes and taking himself on many bike rides whenever he had some spare time. 

He also started to “work” his passion of bikes by having the opportunity of working at the Cog Bike Shop right on the Warby Trail in Warburton.

Wanting a change of scenery and career and with his kids loving their bikes and scooters, he decided it was time to start looking to pursue his dream of owning his very own bike shop. That’s when the opportunity to purchase the Cog Bike shop in Warburton made this dream a reality!

As the Warburton shop grew...it was time to expand.  Joel was wanting to share his passion & expertise with his local community in Monbulk and this is where the new shop (and the expansion of Cog Bikes) had to be!

Joel is dedicated to providing the best service he can to all of his customers – whether it be in bike hire, repairs, servicing and building of bikes, purchasing a new bike, scooter or skateboard or just buying accessories for what you already have!
