    Why you’ll love it

For travellers looking for local and authentic experiences.

Mercure Bendigo Schaller is a fabulous four-star boutique hotel, located in close proximity to the city centre, Bendigo Hospital, Bendigo Art Gallery and Bendigo Showgrounds. Mercure Bendigo Schaller is a tribute to Australian contemporary artist Mark Schaller.

Inspired by Schaller's own working studio, the place is a quiet reflection of his creative work. With original artworks in every Workspace (room), an eight metre high mosaic on the exterior of the hotel and large scale sculptures littered across the landscaped gardens.

We acknowledge the First Peoples throughout Victoria and their ongoing connection to the land and waters.

For over 60,000 years they have cared for Country and preserved our beautiful landscapes. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present.

We are grateful for their custodianship, their knowledge and their resilience.

We would also like to acknowledge our First Peoples as Australia’s original storytellers. Their rich storytelling inspires us to share how special Melbourne and Victoria is with the world.
