Yering Farm Wines

Yering Farm Wines is a small, single estate winery and orchard that is nestled within the heart of the Yarra Valley. Established in 1989 and built on rich viticultural and farming history with a family run and owned approach, Yering Farm produces a distinct and highly respected collection of Wines and Cider.

From budburst to bottling, every stage of production is carefully controlled by Vignoron and owner Alan Johns. His hands-on approach ensures that all Yering Farm Wines are of the highest quality and are elegant examples of the region's classic style. With 100% of the production completed onsite.

The Johns Family being five generations of orchardists, with a 70 acre apple and pear orchard onsite blends both practices. Sharing the knowledge and techniques of wine making and farming to produce a unique Cider.

Visit the rustic Cellar Door for a wine tasting or grab a couple of bottles to go. Stay and picnic on the front lawn with family and friends, have a glass of wine in front of the fire or sit on the verandah and just take in the majestic sweeping views of the vineyard and Yarra Valley beyond.

Within walking distance of the Cellar Door is The George at Yering, a luxurious farmhouse-style accommodation that oozes country charm. Perfect for larger groups and bridal parties, the house sleeps 14 guests.
