Sawmill Treehouse is a Japandi-style Designer home, nestled in the serene, leafy alpine setting of Sawmill Settlement at the base of Mt Buller.

Elevated to give you the sensation of living in the treetops, this home mimics a nest, providing a safe, soft, and enveloping atmosphere. Built with fire-safe COR-TEN steel and lined with Tasmanian Oak timber, the home blends seamlessly with its environment. The steel posts resemble gum tree trunks, ensuring no trees were removed during construction. Drawing inspiration from traditional mountain log cabins, the design has been reimagined with modern, sustainable materials. The treehouse has one bedroom, one bathroom and kitchen open plan area.

The property also boasts a separate minimalist Barn clad in warm ply. The Barn is designed to be multi functional, and consists of a large two car garage size room, drying cabinet, laundry/bathroom with floor heating, Luxe outdoor kitchen/barbeque that opens to a stunning steel landing, surrounded by gum trees.
